St. Joseph Preschool

New kindergarten/ preschool building with classrooms, storage, staff workroom, entrance lobby area, outdoor fenced play area and pick-up/drop-off area for parents. The design uses sustainable strategies for on-going maintenance/operational issues as well as to create a safe and secure learning environment for the students and teachers. The building form is derived from a simple sweeping sloped roof with an extended indoor/outdoor porch for potential “spill-over” activities as well as to provide sufficient shading for the children. The project uses pre-engineered modular construction methodology.
