Project Scope:

Campus Master Planning, Major Modernization, New Outdoor Amphitheater, Classroom Refresh, Gym, Science Labs, Industrial Arts, Health Nutrition Program, Computer Labs, Stage Area Improvements.

The project involved campus-wide modernization to one of the oldest high schools in the Bay Area. The 58-acre campus required extensive project assessment and master planning studies prior to the start of the design phases. One of the key features of the project is a new outdoor amphitheater on an existing steeply sloped terrain adjacent to the gym to improve circulation flow, enhance outdoor learning areas for student collaboration and create new opportunities for community gatherings. In addition, the project includes a new outdoor learning/collaboration area for additional STEAM-oriented programs at the Arts/Music classroom wing.
