The Canaan Taiwanese Christian Church (CTCC) project was a conversion of an office building to a religious assembly. The building is one of four repurposed tilt-up office buildings in San Jose, California. The project required extensive demolition of interior non-bearing partitions, seismic upgrades, and safety upgrades in order to be fully fit for religious assembly. CTCC integrates additional program to accomodate various activities of the parish such as a Sports Room, Children’s Playground, as well as a number of classrooms.
